Medical Transcriptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly accurate Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing remote team. This role primarily involves transcribing orthopedic medical dictations into well-formatted clinical documents with precision and efficiency. If you have a strong command of medical terminology, excellent typing skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality healthcare documentation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Description

​This is a full-time, monthly-salary-based work-from-home Job.


Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Week Off: Saturday & Sunday (typically - may vary during training)
Location: Remote (permanent work-from-home)
Salary Range: 2.1 to 2.4 Lakhs per annum
Paid Leaves: 6 Personal and Sick Leaves
Education & Career Development: Continuing education and skill-building training.​​

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Listen to physicians' audio/dictations and transcribe with precision.

  • Create healthcare documentation based on provided findings.

  • Generate quality content meeting specified criteria.

  • Proofread documentation and written content for accuracy.

  • Prepare detailed daily chart reports, submitting them promptly.

  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality per Indian and U.S. laws, including HIPAA.

  • Collaborate/Communicate efficiently and effectively with the team using email and other digital tools like Slack, Asana, etc.

  • Utilize MS Office Suites, including Word and Excel.

  • Open to learning and optimizing skills and competencies on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in any domain.

  • Strong English language skills, including vocabulary and sentence construction.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel or equivalent - Google Suite

  • Excellent strategic writing and proofreading abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong time-management and multitasking skills.

  • Functional computer with the latest Windows or macOS operating system.

  • Reliable internet connection for remote work.
